Problem in the changed NLP ID edit

Hello, sorry, because of the changed NLP ID, the NLP-ID-link works either on EN-WP or on PL-WP but not on the both Wps. For example, in Authority control of E.E. Smith:

PL-WP NLP-ID-link works

EN-WP NLP-ID-link doesn't work

in Authority control of Jan Stanisław Skorupski:

PL-WP NLP-ID-link doesn't work

EN-WP NLP-ID-link works

All the best, --Mozel W. (talk) 05:49, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Mozel W. You raise a very good point. This was an oversight on my part. Changing the property constraint back to what it was, however, raises another issue. Using Jan Stanisław Skorupski as an example here.
Polish wiki
Unik._ident.: A11107844
English wiki
Nr_rekordu: 981069645730560
Notice how the record doesn't give any indication as to what the "Unik._ident." is, whereas it does clearly show us the "Nr_rekordu". The only way to find unique records would be through VIAF, it seems. Or am I missing something here?
Take care! Jay D. Easy (talk) 19:49, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hello, can you explain the changes made? If the new irregular expression is used, the old format of the identifier will be considered invalid on the wikis, locally, even though it is mainly used. Is this a technical change made by the library? The elements will be updated? Thank you. Lofhi (talk) 12:05, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi, Jay D. Easy, please fix : appears as invalid (in red) on some linguistic versions (fr. as ex). Thanks.--DDupard (talk) 13:10, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Lofhi, DDupard: sure! The previous expression allowed us to link to a record's "Unik._ident." These start with an A, followed by 8 to 9 digits. The problem with these is that they don't appear in the record itself. I'll use the example shown above again.
So this is the "Unik._ident." link to the authority record for Jan Stanisław Skorupski:
Unik._ident.: A11107844
Notice how you won't find this "Unik._ident." anywhere in the record itself. Previously, these "Unik._idents" could be copied from VIAF. In fact, it's probably still possible. But that's just about the only way, and I believe they're slow phashing them out in favor of "Nr rekordu". Take a look at Skorupski's VIAF record. You'll notice how the NLP authority record now only indicates an "Nr rekordu".
Here we have the "Nr rekordu" link to Skorupski's record at NLP:
Nr_rekordu: 981069645730560
Notice how this identifier is plainly visible in the record itself as well. And that's the motivation behind this change. So yeah, we'll have to update about 1,100 or so NLP identifiers, but it's necessary. Thank you. Jay D. Easy (talk) 14:49, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the explanations, both formats now work for frwiki while the transition is being made. This implies that an error is no longer displayed and I don't know if it will have an impact: fewer people are likely to update the id. Lofhi (talk) 19:00, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

RERO edit

Hello, the RERO id 01-0250277 (Q59729459) is invalide since the changes on Property:P3065. However, the link is valid. Do you know if that's normal? Lofhi (talk) 20:02, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Lofhi: thanks! I've updated the format constraint to 0[1-2]-[A-Z|0-9]{1,10}, which is valid for both forms. Jay D. Easy (talk) 22:48, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
