Well, you know, whatever floats your boat! I care little about hills in general, and certainly don’t plan to die on or for these two.

Now I do not remember what, specifically, lead to me losing faith in the Bornköpfe, or the Bornkopf/Born-Kopf-Duo, and it may have just been the heuristic-from-hell(-but-thats-only-the-name-and-real-hell-is-100m-that-way): thatcebuwiki-only is usually a duplicate and never useful.

I do, however, vaguely remember searching specifically for such cases, at some point, namely: sets of two or more geographical features within a single small area, with little to no actual salience, individually, and identical or very similar names. It makes no sense, whatsoever, for Bornkopf (Q30670633)´and Bornkopf (Q30670670), to just exist, almost within view of each other, except for the fact that they rise just 100m above the surrounding landscape and therefore aren’t really *visible* in any context except an on online map, I mean: these people, in rural Thuringia, they do make odd choices on occasion, like when they are voting. And yet I do believe they would notice the overlapping names, and how that would very precisely ruin the single purpose for naming anything?

Meaning: it’s almost certainly a single, ill-defined place, and any database showing two objects is perpetuating one of a million mistakes that collectively make up that annoying online monument to some Swedish guy’s narcissistic bot. Karl Oblique (talk) 08:13, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

I appreciate your answer. According to my understanding, the Wikidata database is supposed to represent the factual situation, and not what "makes sense". So philosophing what might make sense or not, discussing what is "almost certain" or to elaborate about the electoral behaviour of Thuringias citizens is in my humble opinion the incorrect approach here, instead I'd rather suggest a quick look into the official topographic maps of the federal state of Thuringia, which proves my point here. Again, I just kindly asked to advise caution regarding this topic to prevent further events of unintentional vandalism on similar occasions.
