Welcome to Wikidata, Kcohenp!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Best regards!

Saami artists edit

Hi! If you need any help with Saami artists in Wikidata, let me know. I try to make sure that they have all the versions of their names in Wikidata, but every once in a while a new version pops up :) -Yupik (talk) 12:41, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

SNAC import edit

I saw you imported a bunch of SNAC ARK ID (P3430) values. SNAC is a little weird in that they have two unique identifiers: the SNAC ID and the Ark ID. The Wikidata property uses the Ark ID, while you imported a bunch of SNAC IDs. It's not a big deal (I should be able to fix them automatically), but please keep this in mind if you do any more SNAC imports.

duration (P2047) in import edit

Hi Kcohenp,

Please note that 4'30'' is added as 4.5 minutes (or 270 seconds), not three distinct values for hour/minutes/seconds. Sample fix that is needed: [1]. This probably applies to other imports of yours. If you need help with it, please make a request at Wikidata:Bot requests. --- Jura 09:42, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
