Hi. Please do not revet changes for polish Category link nor description. We want to move it to Q7779987 because it most proper. It think Q8614257 have bad connection in russian version but proper connection to Commons so i its more adequate.
Translation for polish article describing category: Quarry - an opencast mine of utility stone (hard rock). Quarries should not be confused with opencast mines extracting loose rocks (sand pits, gravel pits).
Hi. OK. See my comments on User talk:Michał Sobkowski — Wikidata. By the way, what does the Russian term have to do with it? I, at least, proceed from the correspondence 'Kamieniołom' = 'stone quarry'.
P.S. Translation contradicts the English definition "A quarry is a type of open-pit mine in which dimension stone, rock, construction aggregate, riprap, sand, gravel, or slate is excavated from the ground."
It Is what exactly means polish word "Kamieniołom". About russian word - it’s my mistake - i thought there is a typo.
As I told Michał Sobkowski, I will not insist - also because there are no separate articles in Polish for Q15115254 and Q188040, so choose for yourself. But, in my opinion, the definition in the Polish article does not contradict my version. Regards,
The doubts exists because article for Q7779987 in russian and ukrainin claims "is an outdated term for the mining" but polish term is still in use so it is the main reason of this discussion.
Strangely enough, I didn't even pay attention to our article (it needs to be revised in the context of "stone quarries"), because there is a separate Давні каменоломні — Вікіпедія (wikipedia.org). Thank you for your attention, I'll work on it.
