Blank pages

Hi Seb az86556, having created another "blank" page at Praecambridium sigillum, how do I link a Wikipedia page to it? I clicked "edit" beside "Wikipedia (0 entries)" and entered "en" and the associated page name (Praecambridium), but attempting to save it results in the error message "Could not save due to an error. The save has failed." - What is producing the error and how is this fixed? Loopy30 (talk) 01:06, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

@Loopy30: You followed the correct procedure; however, Praecambridium already exists and has links (and en:Praecambridium sigillum is a redirect, I don't think it would let you link to it). This is often the case for monotypic species where one language version's page title is the species and others name the genus. Seb az86556 (talk) 06:58, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
