- Good evening @Premeditated: and thank you for the welcoming bot. I've seen now some revisions on Italian Wikipedia articles I've linked to Wikidata, maybe wrongly or without the necessary field(s) titled "label" and "description".
Please, have a look at the following articles on it.wikipedia:
- Dichiarazione d'indipendenza palestinese (oldid 106174509) and the Wikidata item Q1816561
- Yousri Belgaroui (oldid 106535872) and the item Q27063332.
As you can rapidly see in the article's chronology, in both of them I did a single edit, in which I didn't used the following instructions:
- [[en:Declaration od Independence]],
- [[en:Yousri Belgaroui]].
Instead, as I remember, I've used the tools "Create links" ("crea collegamenti") on the left side of the page, directly from it.wikipedia. The related form has only two parameters (Project namespace with interlanguage prefix; title of the article), e.g. (en.wiki, Yousri Belgaroui). The Wikidata items has 3 parameters: Language, Label and Description.
Hence, the Wikidata field "Description" isn't mapped on the (it.)Wikipedia form, or its value isn't duplicated from the field "Label" at the saving time.
In the firts time, "Description" is resulting like a free-text field. If it is so, I will add a short textual description for each Wikidata item saved. Please, let me know about that.
