VIAF imports

Please, do not things like this: I'm still cleaning up your mess from December 2014 (And of some French bot doing similar things for BNF and SUDOC ids). VIAF numbers here still might come from OCLC's donation of mappings from VIAF to en.WP, so might be the result of purely autmatic matching. NLI numbers in VIAF are definitely the result of purely automatic matching. That means the chance for errors is multiplied. Our experience with KrBot's try to import the "missing" VIAF numbers in August 2015 was very mixed: For persons it was tolarable (still cleaning up errors from that), for non-persons desastrous. BTW there might also be licensing issues when using VIAF for mass imports of data. -- Gymel (talk) 23:14, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

Europeana Art History Challenge

Hi, I added labels and descriptions to several items in both Bokmål and Nynorsk (example). Wikidata:Europeana Art History Challenge/Nynorsk is updated correctly, but Wikidata:Europeana Art History Challenge/Bokmål is not. Could it be that your bot uses the language code «no» instead of «nb»? Danmichaelo (talk) 16:42, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi Danmichaelo, looks like @Wittylama: mixed up the language codes ;-) I fixed it. Next run should be better. Thanks for pointing this out! Multichill (talk) 09:46, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
whoops, sorry. And thanks for noticing, and fixing. Wittylama (talk) 10:48, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Uh oh, now the Wikidata items are counted correctly, but not the article contributions on no.wikipedia.org.. Unfortunately we're one of a very few number of wikipedias were the site prefix (no) is not the same as the site language (nb), for historical reasons… it always creates problems. Perhaps the config could be extended to have a site prefix option, something like "nb" : { "label" : "Bokmål", "siteprefix": "no" }, ? Danmichaelo (talk) 14:17, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
@Multichill, Wittylama: If you're too busy to fix this, let me know where the code lives and I could see if it's something I can fix. Danmichaelo (talk) 21:14, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
@Danmichaelo: oh! I see! I thought I was pretty careful to check the differences between language code and country code, but didn't know that there was an extra layer of complexity in Norwegian. The code lives here: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Wittylama/280_config.js but I believe on admins and myself can edit it (which is precisely why we put it there) - unless you already fixed it @Multichill:? -- Wittylama (talk) 12:45, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
@Multichill, Wittylama: Yeah, but that's just the config, I was thinking about the code for the bot using the config. Danmichaelo (talk) 13:26, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
@Danmichaelo, Wittylama: Fixed and deployed. Please test if everything works now. Multichill (talk) 15:34, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks! Danmichaelo (talk) 19:22, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Price of a museum

Hello Multichill,

We discussed of entrance fees of museums in the talk page of the WikiProject Museums. Maybe the use of price (P2284) is not good. Can you say your argument on this page, so that everyone knows?

Thank you, --Tubezlob (🙋) 19:02, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Ok, will do! Multichill (talk) 19:06, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
