Request reason:
@Jasper Deng, The stated reason for the block is, "All of these users' edits point in the same direction and the behavior is the same." I want to clarify that I have consistently used only my registered account, @Mwintirew, and have not engaged in any activity under alternative accounts.

As an organizer, I have actively participated in training individuals to contribute content through editathons and contests. It is plausible that edits from those I have trained might resemble mine due to the guidance provided during these sessions.

I am dedicated to upholding the platform's integrity and adhering to its policies. In light of this, I kindly request a review of my account status and, if deemed appropriate, the removal of the block.
Unblock reason:
The information they provided is consistent with the data and is not false, and after reviewing the records, their words are credible, so the possibility of a false positive is acknowledged. Therefore, I accept this appeal and lift the block. I would like to clarify that this is not the result of checkuser's incorrect investigation and that this is an uncommon occurrence, but I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that Mwintirew may have experienced. --Sotiale (talk) 11:45, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

This template should be archived normally.

@Mwintirew: I think you're misreading Wikidata:Requests for checkuser/Case/Oliver Nortsu. Your username was not included in the list of users that that behavioural comment applied to. Your name was added in the second list as a result of "checkuser" checks, which look at technical information, including IP address and other origin information. I don't know exactly what was found, as I don't have access to that information, but multiple editors operating from the same location, using the same or similar computers, is the sort of thing it would flag.
@Jasper Deng: I note that this user has a significant history on ENWP, and apparently a clean record. I'm also not seeing the behavioural pattern here on Wikidata that would match an abusive editor. Does their explanation seem plausible for the information you have? Bovlb (talk) 18:02, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Bovlb,Thank you for putting in a word and providing clarification on the Wikidata:Requests for checkuser/Case/Oliver Nortsu. I now understand that my username was not directly implicated in the behavioral comment but was added to the second list through "checkuser" checks. Despite my name appearing in the second list, I am currently unable to add a statement on Wikidata.Mwintirew (talk) 20:47, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello. First of all, I understand the inconvenience you may be experiencing. So I would like you to provide me with some information. I heard that you have hosted events such as editathons. Please 'email' me with the date and location you did it. Also, please let me know if there were any participants using account Oliver Nortsu(If you don't know, you don't have to answer). Please do not post this information here, but email it to me(use Special:EmailUser/Sotiale). Thank you! --Sotiale (talk) 03:51, 7 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Sotiale. I have done as requested.Mwintirew (talk) 21:46, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
If I might recommend, you should fill out your user page (here or globally), including some information about your organizer/trainer activities. Bovlb (talk) 16:55, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your recommendation, @Bovlb. I will work on updating my user page with some information.Mwintirew (talk) 18:52, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
