Removing valid statements without any explanation

edit

Hello. Here you removed this statement three times ([1], [2], [3]). You can clearly see that in my first edit summury I noted that statement was removed for no reason and in the second I asked you again to stop removing, but in response today I got your third revert, which as a result is edit warring. Please note that simply removing referenced statements with revert is not a solution to the problem. My advice is to use talk page in such cases and ping the participants instead of removing the valid items.

Just in case, if you think that Wikipedia should not display some data from Wikidata, the thing to do is to configure the relevant infobox accordingly (means locally), not to delete data here. On many wikis this problem is solved through the hyphen character (see examples [4], [5]), but unfortunately for some reason this is not possible on enwiki, however you can still contact someone locally to discuss about this issue.

Please also note that removing links on Wikidata for no reason is undesirable, especially if it is related to other Wikimedia projects, because it will affect not only enwiki, but also other Wikipedia language sections that use official website (P856) property in the infobox. If you see that the link to the official website is unavailable or outdated for some reason, this does not mean that it should be removed, since you can always add an archive link or look for another solution to the problem, as I did. While browsing this website, I noticed that there are separate links for each ceremony by year (see). I have already added the appropriate links to each item (example), so the issue can be considered resolved for now, but next time please use talk page and ping the participants just in case if you want to clarify something rather than remove valid items.
