May 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Andreasmperu. Welcome to Wikidata! I noticed that you recently removed a link from an item, but didn't add it anywhere else. If you feel that the link would be better suited to another item, please add it there. (If you don't know how to do that, feel free to contact me at my talk page and I can do it for you.) If you're curious about editing Wikidata, and would like to test things out, please try the Wikidata Sandbox. Thanks, and happy editing! --Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 04:36, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks to see my edit. I corrected only obvious contradiction. My edit you reverted was perhaps http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q6959830. That was incorrect link between another two persons, and I deleted the link. En and fr pages refer to Naito Toyomasa(内藤 豊昌, Japanese sculptor, 1773-1856), ja page refers to Yamauchi Toyomasa(山内 豊昌, Japanese daimyo, 1641-1700), unfortunately, the two are also japanese historical person, but Naito Toyomasa doesn't have ja page, and Yamauchi Toyomasa have no other page in another language. I thought the most reasonable way is only deleting the link with ja page in Q6959830. I don't know why the confusion was occured, I think it was because the two has same personal name and have a same kanji(内) in their family name. Please confirm the article in each pages with auto-translator program. If you think that is correct, please delete the link again(I don't have much information with wikipedia/wikidata editing rules and I don't delete the link again for a while!). --Sabonya (talk) 17:15, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the explanation. I have created a new element (Q13365626) for 山内 豊昌 and maintained the enwiki and frwiki links for Naitō Toyomasa in Q6959830. Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 19:29, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
I confirmed that. Next time I find similar situation, I'll create a new wikidata element. Thanks for quick operation. --Sabonya (talk) 06:26, 23 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Bonne de Savoie (Q2721001) ‎ edit

Bonjour,
I inform you that I canceled your insertion "partner" in the notice of Bonne de Savoie since it is about a project of union (marriage contract) but which never materialized. --B-noa (talk) 10:02, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks to notice.
I had understood they are only engaged but not married, but I don't know how is the better way to represent their relationship on wikidata.
If you know, Please tell me. -- Sabonya (talk) 10:10, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
This is the kind of information that shouldn't be on wikidata, since it never happened. This should only appear in the development of the text of the notice. --B-noa (talk) 13:41, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
hmm, I don't understand "development of the text of the notice", but I understand these kind of information should not exist on wikidata. Thank you for reply! -- Sabonya (talk) 13:49, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

劉祜 (曖昧さ回避) (Q107649474) edit

Could you fix Q107649474? The sourcing circumstances (P1480) statement is a scope constraint violation and is a misuse of the property without creating a meaning. Apart from that the item doesn't hold data apart from the Japanese label and the data that it is different from other things. If you want to disambiguate the items that are values of the different from (P1889) statements then those items should be connected with each other by different from (P1889). If the item hasn't any other purpose it is out of scope and should be deleted. Best, --Marsupium (talk) 01:48, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

P1480 was just a mistake. I replaced that to P31. Thanks for notice. -- Sabonya (talk) 02:26, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hm, okay, but there is no Wikimedia disambiguation page (Q4167410) as there is no sitelink. There is nothing like "disambiguation items" used here, they are only items that describe disambiguation pages on other (maybe also here) projects.
And the item fails Wikidata:Notability: no sitelink, no clearly identifiable conceptual or material entity, no structural need. No structural need because different from (P1889)-relation of the items should be established between them (see above). --Marsupium (talk) 02:34, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Names in latin script edit

Hello Sabonya,

Thank you for creating many items on historical japanese people. If you know how their names are written in latin script, can you please write them as the item label in English? These people appear on french wikipedia (and perhaps other versions) via automatic infoboxes. GrandEscogriffe (talk) 21:44, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
