Edits to given names edit

Hi Tanzania,

Thanks for contributing to given names in Wikidata. It's slowly growing and it helps when given name (P735) values are added and items expanded. I'm not entirely sure of the value added by this edit.

  • The reference doesn't really tell us much about the given name and it's one that isn't so unique that we need to find attestations of its use.
  • Besides, I'm not sure why we would add an additional P31 value for this female given name.
  • Multiple native label (P1705) aren't really helpful if there is a one with language code "mul" (multiple languages).
  • P407=Swedish can help.
  • Not sure about the reference for P282.

Were these additions discussed somewhere before upload? --- Jura 07:07, 3 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jura, and thanks for quick feedback. When it comes to the given names, it was completely my mistake. I've deleted P31 and P1705 manually from all given names. The purpose was only to add given names that were missing so far from Wikidata (such as Q101095557), for a set of Swedish suffragettes that I added from a source. np. Thanks for doing that. I put it to use: https://reasonator.toolforge.org/?q=Q101095557 --- Jura 09:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

The first chairperson (P488) statement in Föreningen för kvinnans politiska rösträtt i Edsvalla (Q101416768) currently has the odd value of job vacancy advertisement (Q356251). Can you please check? --Daniel Mietchen (talk) 13:29, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

The Swedish article for vacancy is linked to this object. Perhaps they should be split up into two separate objects. The Swedish meaning is that no one currently holds the position. So I’m Swedish the value is not odd, only in English. Tanzania (talk) 14:15, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Kira Jarmysj edit

Om du inte även gör detta kommer det att stå Kira Yarmysh i infoboxen. Maundwiki (talk) 12:49, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
