Q115571413 edit

Tarik Over, your editing style on the data item page Q115571413 is problematic, thus I needed to block you from editing this page. If you want to change something here, please elaborate on this page. —MisterSynergy (talk) 00:13, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I really need to delete this page and this photo ! It is claimed for copyright issues Tarik Over (talk) 08:47, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
The photo c:File:Camille Islert.jpg is hosted at Wikimedia Commons and can only be delete there. Seems you have already nominated it for deletion there. Once this is done, it will automatically be removed from Wikidata as well.
The data item itself, i.e. everything that is hosted at Wikidata about the subject, does not contain any copyrighted information. The subject also qualifies for inclusion here, so the item does meet the notability policy of Wikidata. —MisterSynergy (talk) 08:59, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello, can you explain to me what does "already nominated it for deletion" means, i don't really understand. Will it be deleted ? if yes, do you know when ? Can you help me to delete it from there ? Tarik Over (talk) 09:23, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
There are four deletion requests on the file page, so at some point someone will pick this up and make a decision. As much as I am aware, the procedures at Wikimedia Commons are sometimes a bit slow and I have barely any experience in that project. Perhaps @Benoît Prieur can help, since he created the data item here, he edited the file page at Commons, and he holds admin rights at Commons. —MisterSynergy (talk) 09:54, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi,
Actually, a wpfr article was created on this subject, I just created the wikidata item linked with this article which was deleted few hours afertwards. I'm not so aware about the WikiCommons procedure in that particular case: no argument in the deletion request (which can be a copyvio pb for example). So for the moment no obvious reason I'm afraid.
I'm a bit embarrassed by the situation. But Tarik Over (is she Camille Islert herself?) created an article on wpfr, uploaded an image on Commons, and changed her/his mind few hours aferwards and wants now to delete everything. Not very consistent... --Benoît (discussion) 10:03, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sure, not very consistent in every aspect. The editing here at Wikidata looks a bit erratic as well, but I meanwhile attribute it to their inexperience.
According to this comment above from earlier today, there might be a copyright issue. Certainly not for the content hosted at Wikidata in Q115571413, but I am not sure about the image c:File:Camille Islert.jpg at Commons. How do you usually deal with such claims at Commons? —MisterSynergy (talk) 10:08, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello, I am not Camille Islert, but a friend of her, and she asked me to delete all this as I don't have the right for this photo. It is clamed by Grasset Editions. This is a copyright issue. I am so sorry I have been very stupid, I don't know how all this works, and I should not have done this. I am sweating so much right now. This photo is private, and should be deleted from here. and could really put my friend in a bad situation. I am so sorry for my stupidity but I beg you to delete this if you can, Or I will lose a friend. Tarik Over (talk) 10:15, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
