- Motivation
It would be useful to add links to the Biodiversity Heritage Library (Q172266) for biodiversity journals or books. A number of journals or past issues can only be found online in BHL. Korg (talk) 12:53, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

- Support. Useful especially if no BHL-DOI is assigned. At the moment I have to use URL (P2699) for this purpose. --Succu (talk) 13:23, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

- Note. Sometimes publication details in IPNI (IPNI publication ID (P2008)) offer a link to BHL; in the IPNI page for the Memoirs of the New York Botanical Garden (Q2843475), for example, you can see: "Read this publication in BHL." As a side note, would it be of interest to have a property for publications in Tropicos (e.g. [1])? Korg (talk) 17:19, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about that. Tropicos has own IDs for persons too, e.g. Carl von Linnaeus. --Succu (talk) 17:41, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Another digression, I just found out BPH online. Korg (talk) 21:51, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Important, yes, but without IDs we could link to. --Succu (talk) 21:54, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support. The BHL provides high-quality bibliographic metadata. YULdigitalpreservation (talk) 13:19, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
