Planned use	I plan on adding fatcat IDs to Wikidata entries about journal articles as a source of authority control in addition to PMID, PMCID, DOI, etc. But also, some documents have no identifiers other than fatcat ID.

Motivation edit

I am working as a contractor with the Internet Archive to match up Wikidata entries with corresponding Internet Archive resources. Fatcat.wiki is a project of the Internet Archive for making fulltexts of open-access journal articles available.
