  •   Comment Is this used only in certain countries (Germany?) or is it quite universal for items on waterways? Do you want "string" datatype or would quantity be better (which would display as "2.5 km" rather than "km 2.5" for example? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:11, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is quite universal: highways, railways, waterways. I would prefer "string" datatype (since it does not necessarily reflect physical distances). It is a man-made/defined feature to describe a location. --DeltaIndiaRomeoKilo-- (talk) 18:45, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
