- Motivation
Currently there exist an OpenStreetMap relation ID property https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P402.
It could be extremely usefull to extend this to waypoints (points, line segments, polygons) giving the possibility to link POI, streets, rivers, lakes, woods, cemeteries, etc. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Geertivp (talk • contribs) at 12:51, 30 December 2016 (UTC).

- Note that this has been proposed and rejected multiple times before because OSM IDs are not stable (this, this and this are the ones I can find) and the property for relations is currently under consideration for deletion. - Nikki (talk) 17:29, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
