Motivation edit
Besides published folders (see PM20 folder ID (P4293)), the 20th Century Press Archives (Q36948990) contains millions of newspaper clippings, which are available only on digitized micro films (see here for an overview - currently only in German). Sections of these microfilms may contain folders (e.g. about a certain company), or stretches of folders (e.g. all folders about a certain country). Due to intellectual propery rights, most of this material is only available on premises. However, I think it is useful to be able to add information to Wikidata, where selected materials are exactly located.
The value of the property would be the address of the image at the start of the section (combined from the abbreviations of the holding and the archive, the alphanumerical name of the film, and the number of the image). A number of pages (P1104) qualifier should be added to indicate the range up to the end of the section. --Jneubert (talk) 08:25, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

- Update: Currently, entries to material about 2000 companies all over the world (founded before 1945) are available to be linked to Wikidata via the proposed property. --Jneubert (talk) 17:47, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
