Wikidata:Property proposal/Verified Handles VHID

Description	identifier for an entry in the Verified Handles database VHID's, the acronym used by the service for the 11 digit identifiers, are permanent to an entry in their database^[1]. They're partly powered by Wikidata as suggested by the disclaimer at the base of their site, but I've found many entries when browsing using the Special:Random function (they use MediaWiki) that have data that the corresponding Wikidata item doesn't have.

Authoritative database in the public domain. I've personally used it to add a few socials to items on Wikidata.

Comment Since the database is fairly new (source), it's actual usage could be questioned. Do they provide statistics or some sort of transparency around page views? 31.48.210.143 19:18, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose absolutely not - the creator of this and spammer is, well, a cross wiki spammer that operated a botnet to include verifiedhandles everywhere in an attempt to further push his agenda (spam and his musical career.) Praxidicae (talk) 18:43, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
