Following the discussion on proposal: annual report and given that URL (P2699) is somewhat an oddity among Wikidata properties, here a proposal that allows to include quarterly reports, for those interested.

- Oppose per discussion and consensus at Wikidata:Property proposal/annual report, which this is an attempt to circumvent. Also, P582 is used improperly, in the example. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:05, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

- @ChristianKl: can you explain your reasoning? Somehow I gave up on trying to make sense of Pigs oppose votes.
--- Jura 06:08, 17 April 2017 (UTC)- I think there are a lot of entries if you link to every possible report from the page of the an organisation. On the other hand we can have items for the individual reports and link from those items to the organisation. ChristianKl (talk) 14:25, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: The focus is on periodic reports, not any report. Most of the time this would be annual. Obviously, the same could be said for URL (P2699), so having a specialized property makes it easier to select them. As most organizations eventually merge with something else, I don't think there will be as many as, e.g. for FIDE player ID (P1440). Hope this answers your concern.
