- Motivation
I was thinking about the fact that if categories can have topics, then news articles can as well. PokestarFan • Drink some tea and talk with me • Stalk my edits • I'm not shouting, I just like this font! 17:36, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
- Discussion
- Except that category's main topic (P301) isn't supposed to be used in such a general and indiscriminate fashion. The 'main topic' is supposed to be directly equivalent to the subject of the category. Correct usage. Incorrect usage. Gareth (talk) 12:29, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Next time, please do not use my mistakes as an example. PokestarFan • Drink some tea and talk with me • Stalk my edits • I'm not shouting, I just like this font! 19:35, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
- This is your proposal. And "Man cleared of Belfast bomb attempt on retrial after eleven years (Q17655502) --> Crime and law" is exactly the same kind of mistake. Gareth (talk) 07:33, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose Use main subject (P921). (in any case, data-type should be "Item".) Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:57, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
