Open Biological and Biomedical Ontology Foundry Ontologies (Q4117183) is a family of interoperable ontologies curated by the OBO Foundry (Q7072326). Different ontologies from this family of ontologies are already aligned with Wikidata. Some even have their respective wikidata properties (see results of the following SPARQL query.

Others (e.g. Disease Ontology (Q5282129)) are fully aligned and regularly updated. The aim of this project is to streamline the process to get OBO ontologies covered in Wikidata. This can involve the following (possibily) independent steps.

Update the descriptions of the different OBO ontologies in Wikidata. This would allow navigating references to the different ontologies from the scientific literature through for example Scholia (Q45340488). It might also allow attribution to different funding sources.
Discuss the different ontologies that are used across OBO and how that affect their coverage on Wikidata.
Develop bots to aligin individual OBO ontologies with Wikidata
Aim for a generic approach and investigate how to include this in OBO driven publication pipeline.
