User:Magnus Manske/authority control.js has stopped adding edit

Hi. For years I have been using MM's simple lookup and add tool to quickly add the relevant authority detail for new Wikisource authors. Today I find that the additions have stopped—it still does the lookup. Is there an alternate tool, or do I need to go back to MM and ask for his investigation. I had a look at Bargioni scripts though they don't work straight out of the box, I am not interested in having to manually add the individual VIAF(s) and then adding the clusters, nor faffing around with config files for something that should be super easy lookup and add. Also noting that mix'n'match doesn't work on new items, and there is an unknown and unpredictable time for it to function, and I would prefer to do these as I create the items. Thanks. (please ping me if there is a ready replacement)  — billinghurst sDrewth 23:52, 29 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also noting that MM's tool also was able to do the birth and death year matches, and able to extract full date of birth and death dates if known, a very handy feature.  — billinghurst sDrewth 00:00, 30 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

New property P12012 for Handelsregister numeric IDs edit

Hi! I've just created identifier in a register in Germany (P12012). Jonathan Groß (talk) 09:16, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Jonathan Groß: In type of register's proposal RShigapov described that they intended this property to be used for different types of registers in Germany, not just Handelsregister. However, to be able to model which type of register and which court's register the ID belongs to two additional properties are necessary¹ that would be used as qualifiers: type of a register in Germany (P10604) and register in Germany which to together would be used like this (if I understood RShigapov correctly):
identifier in a register in Germany (P12012)
  23855
type of a register in Germany (P10604) register of associations (Q2515188)
register in Germany (proposed) Local Court Charlottenburg (Q480608)

add reference

add value
Since register in Germany has not been created yet, I don't think that identifier in a register in Germany (P12012) can be used in a meaningful fashion as of now. Though maybe issued by (P2378) can be used instead?:
¹ Handelsregister-/Vereinsregister/…-IDs are only unique per Registration court (Q2138576) but not across different courts in Germany. --Nw520 (talk) 13:45, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

NTA Dutch name authority file edit

Do we have a contact for NTA? The death date on this item is incorrect https://viaf.org/processed/NTA%7C069531005 - David Sanderson Chambers (Q19997491) is currently listed as an Honorary Fellow at the Warburg Institute, and certainly did not die in 1970. - PKM (talk) 23:31, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
