Deprecated GND ID

Because of neverending (?) RFC Wikidata:Requests for comment/Handling of stored IDs after they've been deleted or redirected in the external database we have long-pending (over three months) protected edit requests related to deprecated GND ID. To clean up this category, I put these canceled protected edit requests here. The common problem was that user:Kolja21 removed deprecated/redirected GND IDs. I think that the harm is minimal (or even absent) if we don't revert these edits. But ultimate decision may be made if RFC will be ended.

Thanks for the list. Like explained here the corrections were part of maintenance work. We had many and long discussions about that topic (mostly in German). --Kolja21 (talk) 20:19, 2 September 2022 (UTC)

Sorry Kolja21, but your constant statement that your deletions are for maintenance is a myth. You've been shown plenty of other avenues to choose from rather than deleting the outdated or redirected identifiers. --Gymnicus (talk) 20:30, 2 September 2022 (UTC)

Please stop accusing me of randomly deleting identifiers. 17 years of maintenance work is not a myth (see de:Wikipedia:GND/Fehlermeldung). I've marked hundreds of redirects with "deprecated rank" (without deleting them) and of cause there are cases where withdrawn identifiers are kept (example: Q55194458#P227). Last not least: You are not interested in maintenance work for authority control data. May I remind you that the reason you started these discussions was to prove that you were unfairly blocked. --Kolja21 (talk) 21:46, 2 September 2022 (UTC)

@Estopedist1: To be honest I don't know if this is the right place to discuss the topic. I would have raised the issue again on Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard or Wikidata:Project chat after I had carried out the other edit requests, because the RFD speaks a clear language and, based on this, action must finally be taken. --Gymnicus (talk) 20:21, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
