Neothrombium gryllotalpae, sp. nov. (Figs. 1-6)This species is similar to Neothrombium neglectum (Bruyant) 1903, but it can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1) Its small size, anterior scutum short. 2) A pair of sensillae long, apical portion with ciliate setae. 3) The index pedibus is 93 μ, shorter than N. neglectum. 4) Eye plates and posterior scutum proximad of anterior scutum. 5) Palpal tarsus with 6 setae.Holotype: 1, paratype 3, Xinghuo Farm, Shanghai, 9-Ⅷ-1981, on Gryllotalpa africana Palisot de Beauvois, collected by Fan Xiaoxian.Neothrombium neglectum (Bruyant) is for the first time recorded from our country, Xinghuo Farm, Shanghai, 12-Ⅷ-1981, on Gryllotalpa aficana Palisot de Beauvois, collected by Fan Xiaoxian.All type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Fudan University, Shanghai, China..
