Colleagues, friends of Data, stop for a minute to ponder this: Is it not en:Latin script, an article on standard method of writing most Western and Central European languages, as well as many languages from other parts of the world, what this item is about? (I only looked at es: cs: sk: pt: pl:) Littledogboy (talk) 17:46, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

There are two items: Q8229 and Q41670. As for now, Q8229 is related to Latin Alphabet that is the article from meta-list 1000? Q41670 is related to Latin script. I read both articles in English and I could not understand why they split them, what should be in every one of them, and which one should be from meta-list? May be it is not proper place for this discussion. --Zanka (talk) 20:28, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
m:talk:list of articles every Wikipedia should have/Archives/2013#Latin script or Latin alphabet. --Zanka (talk) 20:48, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
It's strange, yes. I can't derive the difference between them. --Infovarius (talk) 13:15, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
SrpskiAnonimac, I don't understand your changes. --Infovarius (talk) 16:58, 6 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Done. All in order now, thank you. Littledogboy (talk) 21:28, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

@Serg!o: can you comment here? --Infovarius (talk) 14:39, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Infovarius:, a dozen of Wikipedias were wrongly linking their main article to Q41670 because in enwiki it has the title expected for the main article. I had to remove those sitelinks and moved them to Q8229 which is the main article.--Serg!o (talk) 11:45, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is causing some havoc as many languages wikidata has both latin script and latin alphabet as their wirting systems: Q44268, Q197936, Q28427--Serg!o (talk) 11:53, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
But now at Q8229 there are many "alphabet" links... --Infovarius (talk) 22:35, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
