l'entité Q639250 que tu as supprimée concernait la voile de grande taille qui est fixée sur le premier mât (=misaine en français, foresail en anglais, Фок en ukrainien etc) ; l'entité Q538850 que tu as renommée concernait une petite voile triangulaire située en avant du premier mât (=foc en français, jib en anglais, Клівер en slave? ). "voile d'étai" est l'équivalent de "staysail", simplement la façon dont la voile est attachée ; donc le(s) foc(s) sont souvent des "staysails/voiles d'étai". Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de mot en français équivalent à "headsail", il y a "le" foc ou différentes sortes de focs selon les cas. En tout cas foresail/misaine/Vela Trinquete/Trinchetto doivent être clairement différenciés de headsail/foc/Fiocco etc. En allemand (d'où semble venir le vocabulaire nautique russe) c'est pas clair sur wikipedia, soit parce que les termes ont changé soit parce que les rédacteurs de wikipedia en allemand se trompent (ici Fock=foresail/misaine, alors que ici Fock= innermost jib--Phso2 (talk) 13:13, 28 May 2020 (UTC) PS: en fait en allemand selon [1] "Fock" a deux significations possibles selon le contexte.

Je pense que c'est parce qu'en anglais, "staysail"en général est "une voile d'étai" mais "THE staysail" est "the innermost headsail/jib" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staysail). Le problème est que Q538850 mélange la voile carrée et la voile d'étai triangulaire.--Phso2 (talk) 17:08, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Pour "foresail", on peut l'utiliser pour "headsail" mais ce n'est pas le plus courant, et l'élément wikidata doit désigner une chose précise, sinon il faut rajouter une page d'homonymie.--Phso2 (talk) 20:31, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
