Merges

Certo che c'è un sistema migliore :) se vai negli accessori, (Gadget) trovi il gadget Merge (dovrebbe essere il primo), se lo abiliti ti permette di fare l'unione di 2 item trasferendo link, proprietà etichette e descrizioni, e segnalare la richiesta di cancellazione nell'apposita page, tutto con un solo passaggio. Una volta attivato lo trovi cliccando sulla freccia subito a sinistra della casella di ricerca, seleziona le opzioni che ti interessano, e premi unione. Raramente può bloccarsi, in questi casi ricarica la pagina e controlla che cosa è successo sui 2 item. Se non è chiaro fammi spere. --ValterVB (talk) 12:53, 13 August 2013 (UTC)

Merging items

Hallo Alexmar983,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the emptied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Cycn, you updated this message, but I was already using these gadgets when you wrote to me the first time, I always assumed that some bot added some content to a page I wanted to delete and you assumed I emptied it manually leaving something, because the reason for you first message was kinda a mystery to me. My "Request deletion " option in my preferences is selected since august 2013.

Unless you're maybe suggesting this time is that it is possible to automatically link between the merge and the RfD so that the software put in Rfd the merged page directly? Because I don't find this "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" option.--Alexmar983 (talk) 16:05, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

When you merge, one of the items is left empty, that's considered 'extra'. The option automatically nominates the page that is emptied on the RfD-page. - - (Cycn/talk) 08:40, 17 April 2014 (UTC)

This option is the one I already had on my menu, but it not common to use it directly here beacuse my merging are coming from connections I suggest on the local wikipedia, and in that case the software merges 8some moths ago it was just adding a label, now it performs a complete merge), in any case it is not merging by default to the lowest i.d. so it is good that I check before an additional step if everything is ok. When I merge two items directly here on wikidata, I can use it of course, but it is a rare occurance--Alexmar983 (talk) 14:14, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Alexmar leggo solo adesso il tuo messaggio. la risposta è: bho?. Se ho cancellato non me ne sono accorto, ho un broser vecchio che non aggiorna le pagine velocemente, magari ho scambiato le versioni o proprio da rimbambito ho cancellato. Se l'ho fatto è avvenuto assolutamente a mia insaputa (sembro Scagliola ma non è così!) e me ne scuso.1felco (talk) 11:29, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
