Eddie Brock and Antivenom

Hi. Welcome to Wikidata and thanks for your work so far. But I don't understand what you did today. Can you please explain this and this series of edits, both unlinking quite a lot of - apparently matching - sitelinks leading to an empty item and a lot of now completely unconnected Wikipedia articles? --YMS (talk) 19:41, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

I reverted your changes to the items Q424427, Q2604715 and Q10580541 for now. If you think that some sitelinks don't belong there, don't just remove them all. --YMS (talk) 21:08, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

(Answering your post at my talk page): I can't judge whether {{Q|Q10580541} and Eddie Brock (Q2604715) should be merged. Could be. But if so, please follow the instructions at Help:Merge, and if you're unable to finally decide or do all the necessary clean-up work, discuss it at Wikidata:Interwiki conflicts or, in special cases, at Wikidata:Project chat, one of it's other-language counterparts, or at your local Wikipedia, where there's possibly some project or something working on articles of this field. In any case, don't just clear all items. The interwiki links of the Wikipedia articles get lost by this, and possibly someone would create five independent items then where we now have two and you intended to have only one. About antivenom (Q424427): That one should not have been touched in this process at all. None of the articles linked there has something to do with a comic character. If like the English Wikipedia would have an article en:Anti-Venom (comics) (they do not, it's a redirect to en:Eddie Brock) it would probably be linked to some other item. Please keep in mind that other than on Wikipedia, on Wikidata, more than one item with the same title (label) can exist. So there could easily be more Anti-Venom items (there actually is one more: Anti-Venom (Q9617362) - I guess at least that one should be merged with the Italian one) without the anti-snake-venom product interfering with them.
