Citizenship for Flemish people

edit

Hi, I just reverted a lot of your edits that were changing the citizenship of Flemish people. I just now noticed that most of these people (all?) were very old, from the 1500s or 1600s, so I understand where you're coming from, in that they probably weren't citizens of the Netherlands (since that didn't exist as an entity then?). However, saying they are citizens of Flemish people (Q242485) doesn't make sense either, since that is an item for the ethnicity, not a state. For people this old it may be better to just remove the statement about citizenship, since the very concept of citizenship doesn't really apply. What do you think?
