Hi Danny. Actually seeing Wikidata:Project_chat#Translation_administrators I asked at User_talk:Ajraddatz#Translation_administrators about the status. I think that there's consensus for admins to simply go at Meta and ask for it while non-admins have to run for election, but nobody has yet implemented the changes. I'd preferr not to have to decide that myself. But in your case, given that you pass the Meta practice when there's no local regulation (you've been voted and you obviously have support) I think you could go to SRP (miscellaneous requests) and I'll set the permissions to you.
