Welcome to Wikidata, Nanuun-saram!
Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!
Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:
- Introduction – An introduction to the project.
- Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
- Community portal – The portal for community members.
- User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
- Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
- Project chat – Discussions about the project.
- Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

Names of chemical compounds
editNames of chemical entities like chemical compounds can be placed in labels and aliases only right now. There are few exceptions like World Health Organisation international non-proprietary name (P2275), but for other names we are waiting for multilingual-name datatype to be created. Using name (P2561) is not a valid way to add names for chemical compounds right now. Wostr (talk) 13:21, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- 私が特定の言語による名称の根拠を提示したい場合には、どうように対処すべきでしょうか。 Gminky (talk) 02:22, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you wrote, but: there is no option right now to add chemical names as statements. Add them as labels and aliases. You will be able to add chemical names as statements after creation of multilingual-text datatype and respective properties that uses this datatype (like this one). - ありがとうございます。
- 現時点では、 labels and aliasesのエビデンスを提示する方法はないということでしょうか。
- thank you.
- Does this mean that there is currently no way to present evidence of labels and aliases? Gminky (talk) 01:41, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- No, there is no way to add references to labels and aliases and this won't change as far as I know. In the future, after the creation of properties like IUPAC name, you will be able to add references to such statements, however, I think that most chemical names will be imported from various databases and referenced automatically during such import. - 御教示ありがとうございました。
- Thank you for your instruction. Gminky (talk) 10:32, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
