Thank you for contributing to Wikidata. I see that you recently created an item Q124400305 that does not clearly indicate its notability. The Wikidata project only accepts items that meet its notability criteria, and your item is therefore likely to be deleted soon. In brief, items must have an associated Wikipedia article, must be needed for statements on another notable item, or must have both identifiers and serious sources. For the last case, a good indication of notability would be multiple articles about the subject in independent publications like newspapers or magazines. You can add such sources as references to specific claims using reference URL (P854), or as top-level claims using described at URL (P973).

Also, this may not apply in this specific case, but you should know that we discourage editors from contributing on topics with which they have a strong personal connection, as this may present a conflict of interest. דבר ראשון, תודה על התוספות והפריטים החדשים.

עם זאת, שתי הערות:

1. לחלק גדול מהפריטים שיצרת, כבר היו פריטים ישנים, שבחיפוש קל היית מגיעה אליהם. מיזגתי את רובם, אך נא לשים לב להבא.
2. הוספת תאריכים רבים לפריטים, כשלא ברור הסימוכין לכך; ברבים מהם נראה שמדובר בהשערות על בסיס המאה בה האדם חי. עדיף לכתוב תאריכים כללים יותר (המאה ה־14 וכו') מתאריכים לא מאומתים.

הערה אחרונה:

כבר יצרת את הפריט Yehudah HeKohen (Q124400305) בשם "Yehudah HeKohen", אותו מזגתי, לפי הבנתי, עם הפריט Yehudah HeKohen (Q111686797). אך היום שמתי לב שיצרת גם את הפריט Yehudah HeKohen (Q124400087), אשמח לוודא שלא מדובר באותו אדם ולתקן את טעותי.

אני אתן הסבר קצר על המידע אותו אני מכניסה למאגר.

בבר אילן נעשה מחקר אודות ציטוטים של חכמים מהמאות ה-11 עד המאה ה-14. את המידע הזה נתבקשתי להכניס למאגר בשלושה שלבים:

1. שלב הכנסת מחברי הספרים

2. שלב הכנסת הספרים וקישורם למחברים

3. שלב הכנסת הציטוטים וקישורם מחד לספר המקורי ולכותב שכתב אותם, ומאידך לספר בו הם הובא הציטוט

אני קיבלתי קבצים מוכנים, שעד כמה שהיה ידוע לי, לא אמורות להופיע שם רשומות כפולות. כלומר אם מופיע שם פעמיים יהודה הכהן, מדובר בשני אנשים שונים. בזמן הקלדת הנתונים השתדלתי לבדוק שאין שתי רשומות זהות לחלוטין, אך יתכן שטעיתי במקרים מסויימים, שכן מדובר בעשרות רבות של מחברים, וסליחה אם טעיתי.

עם הדוגמה הספציפית, עלי לפנות את החוקר על מנת לוודא האם מדובר בשני אנשים שונים או באותו אדם.

באשר לתאריכים, לא ניתן לי המקור עליו מתבסס החוקר אלא רק שנת לידה ושנת פטירה. במקרים בהם התאריכים נראו לי לא הגיוניים

(כגון שאדם חי 200 שנה ויותר או 15 שנים ופחות) לא הכנסתי את שנת הלידה והפטירה

השנים אמורות להיות שנים אמיתיות ולא מאה כלשהי.

נתבקשתי להקפיד על הכנסת השנים, שכן הם מעוניינים לקבל את הרשימה על פני ציר הזמן.

בצורת העבודה שלי, אני מחפשת תחילה אם הכותב מופיע במאגר, אם מצאתי אותו אני רושמת את הקוד, ובהמשך רק מעדכנת נתונים לקוד הקיים, אבל בהחלט ייתכן שהחסרתי, ואשתדל לדייק יותר בהמשך.

למאפיין field of work (P101) אין למעשה הגבלה. אבל הוא צריך להיות הגיוני ויש לציין גם מקור. אם אתה מתמצא בשימוש ב-MARC של ספריות אזיי שדה 372 של ה-MARC Field עם 'a' ב-MARC Subfields יכול להיות אחד מאלה:

field of work (P101)

interested in (P2650)

academic minor (P811)

academic major (P812)

industry (P452)
