Please stop removing valid position held (P39) values for things like "bishop" or "regent" and changing them to occupation (P106). As discussed on Wikidata:Project_chat/Archive/2020/07#Position_held_/_occupation, which I believe you participated in under your old account, the consensus is that these should be modelled as positions, and your removing them is just going to break things and cause excessive work for people to fix what you are doing.

Adding better sources for things like birth dates and places is great! Many thanks for that work. But please don't try and change fundamental data models for just a few items without discussing and getting consensus for a change - this ruins our ability to reliably and usefully model items and run searches, which is the entire point of Wikidata. If you think the use of position held (P39) for this type of thing should be changed overall, please start a wider discussion and get consensus for it before trying to make big structural changes. Otherwise, your work will be completely wasted because no-one will be able to make use of it. Andrew Gray (talk) 21:28, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I deleted them because they were double mentioned. One under heading occupation, other under position held. The first were with sources, the second not. The first were older than the second. Those were my reasons. That's all. --Professional Editor & Historian (talk) 22:24, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

"This user will not write or edit articles." Yes. He does. --Looperz (talk) 07:29, 22 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

He did but he will never do it anymore due to your insulting way of addressing me! It's disgusting to see how someone who is making corrections is treated here! --Professional Editor & Historian (talk) 13:55, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
