Birth of Elizabeth Brown Pryor edit

Really? --Jobu0101 (talk) 17:51, 18 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

That's a rather egregious typo, isn't it? Thanks for the correction. Vycl1994 (talk) 19:18, 18 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I found it because I looked for people who died recently and young ;) --Jobu0101 (talk) 21:15, 18 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

academics who died in 2019 edit

Hello, I've pretty much stopped editing in the English WP last year, where I had occasionally added entries on academics in the "Deaths in 20XX" articles. Instead, I've created or updated Wikidata objects about them. Since you had created some WP articles based on my previous entries, you may be interested in a list of notable academics who died in 2019 and don't have an article yet. Of course, this is meant as just an offer. Regards, Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 15:51, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Axolotl Nr.733: This seems like an interesting idea. Where is this list? Vycl1994 (talk) 16:03, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
I've posted it at User talk:Axolotl Nr.733#academics who died in 2019. It's mainly based on my own edits, so it may suffer from human error... Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 16:37, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Stephen Nicholls edit

Can you help me understand what I did wrong here? If it was an easy fix let me know so I don't do it again. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:52, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@CNMall41: I noticed that Nicholls had two Wikidata items, and because they referred to the same subject, I merged them per the steps described at Help:Merge. Several academics that fulfill English Wikipedia's en:WP:NPROF guideline already have Wikidata items created about them, and when I see that a new article about an academic has been created, I check Wikidata for a corresponding item before making a new one. Vycl1994 (talk) 19:35, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ah okay. So basically I created a duplicate entry as I didn't thoroughly check to see if there was one already in existence. Thanks for the explanation. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:41, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
