VAi IDs edit

I was planning on removing described at URL (P973) statements linking to VAi on items which have a VAi building ID (P9153) statement, since these are redundant. I've made similar edits before, as in https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q2362660&diff=prev&oldid=1438951793. Do you have any objections? See this basic query: https://query.wikidata.org/#%23title%3A%20Items%20met%20VAi%20ID%20en%20described%20at%20URL%20statements%0ASELECT%20%2a%20WHERE%20%7B%0A%20%20%3Fitem%20wdt%3AP9153%20%3Fid%20%3B%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20wdt%3AP973%20%3Furl%20.%0A%7D

While checking if we had the latest batch of buildings in Wikidata, I noticed that some (all?) of the buildings on https://www.vai.be/gebouwen?type=&q= have broken permalinks. I checked the top 4:

In case the order is random, it was these four:

Currently these permalinks all 404 for me. Are you still affiliated with VAi? Maybe you have more info? Are you already planning a bulk import of the latest buildings? --Azertus (talk) 19:30, 16 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Azertus,
Thanks for your message. Yes, I'm still affiliated with VAi.
I have no objections against removing the 'described at URL' statement. If I remember well, we only used these as a temporary statement since the VAi building ID statement was not in place at the time.
Thanks a lot for noticing the broken permalinks! There was a technical issue that is now fixed.
A jobstudent is currently working on our building database, adding the latest buildings. We are also organizing the Festival of Architecture this year in September, which always leads to new buildings in our database. I'll plan a new import in Wikidata after these events. VK architects + engineers (Q99761462) edit

Hi Wim,

I think that VK Studio is identical to https://www.vk-architects-engineers.com/nl/over-vk . Do you know more about this company?-- U. M. Owen (talk) 08:50, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
