Autoconfirmed users are those registered users who have met certain thresholds.
A number of actions on the Wikidata are restricted to user accounts that pass certain thresholds of age (time passed since account creation) and edit count. Users who meet these requirements are considered part of the group 'autoconfirmed'. Autoconfirmed status is checked every time a user performs a restricted action: it is then granted automatically by the software. Although the precise requirements for autoconfirmed status vary according to circumstances, most Wikidata user accounts that are more than four days old and have more than 50 edits[1] are considered autoconfirmed.
Autoconfirmed status is required to move pages (except items and properties, which cannot be moved, but the labels can be changed), use certain tools for mass editing of Wikidata, to edit semi-protected pages or to have one's own edits patrolled automatically.[2] Autoconfirmed users are no longer required to enter a CAPTCHA for most events. Autoconfirmed users can also mark edits and new pages as patrolled.
If, for any reason, a non-autoconfirmed user needs autoconfirmed rights, they can be manually confirmed by an administrator, generally through a request at Requests for permissions: Requests for other rights.
