@HombreDHojalata: ¡Es sencillo! Hay que tener activado en preferencias el gadget "merge". El primero de todos. Una vez activado, en el triángulo de "Más" a la izquierda de la caja de búsqueda te aparecerá entre las opciones la de "Fusionar". Haces click en ella, pones el Q del "otro elemento" y el sistema se encarga de fusionar en el más antiguo (número más corto) y de dejar en el más nuevo una redirección. Hay que tener cuidado de que los elementos sean exactamente el mismo, no "solamente muy parecidos". En este caso... pues evidentemente era correcta, había una categoría que se llamaba "empresas de" en lugar de "fabricantes de"... pero el uso que se le da a la categoría es exactamente el mismo, así que... Proposal to create PNG thumbnails of static GIF images

 
The thumbnail of this gif is of really bad quality.
 
How a PNG thumb of this GIF would look like

There is a proposal at the Commons Village Pump requesting feedback about the thumbnails of static GIF images: It states that static GIF files should have their thumbnails created in PNG. The advantages of PNG over GIF would be visible especially with GIF images using an alpha channel. (compare the thumbnails on the side)

Interwikis preferential treatment for English

I would need to know why when creating a new article in the spanish Wikipedia, which still does not exist in the English version, for example this, the link to the non existent english version appears in red. With this approach they would not have to appear in red non existent versions in all languages? (obviously illogical on the other side). Greetings Antur (talk) 02:05, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
