Background
A little more than six year ago User:Denny created a made-up restaurant menu to show what Wikidata could be used for. And five years ago we had the Wikidata:Menu Challenge around a food festival (Q1435951), Smaka på Stockholm (Taste Stockholm), in Stockholm (Q1754) in June 2015 (Q16726272). Around 30 restaurants had special tasting menus for the occasion and from these we compiled a list of food related items. Through this list we created this sort of menus for the restaurants to show off the power of Wikidata to all the thousands of visitors.
As we already know the menu for Wikimania this is the perfect time for eating your own dog food (Q3033752) and use the same system in our own context so that our highly multilingual participants can find out what they eat in their own language.
This time the Menu Challenge will be based around translations of the Wikidata labels and adding images to the items of the ingredients.
Please help us prepare the menu by translating all the ingredients and the dishes to your language and by photographing as much as possible. Let's get some #tastydata!
