@Visem: The target URL in the example given is http://баш.башкирская-энциклопедия.рф/index.php/component/content/article/8-statya/11681-salauat-rajony It's not clear how much of that is the ID, and how much is the formatter URL (P1630). Comment Are the id's (final strings in the URL's, however this proposal settles on them) actually different for the Bashkir and Russian versions of this encyclopedia? I think it might be better to have just one id with two formatter URL's, maybe the Russian one preferred rank if more people read that... ? ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:20, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support The url provided does work with the numerical ID's, dropping the rest.

I've fixed the proposal here.

Another examples:

Sus scrofa (Q58697) -> 7346.
Typha (Q145707) -> 4671.

And yes, the ID's (and the formatter urls) are different. Wrt Salavatsky District (Q288115) in Bashkir versión the ID is 11681, in Russian version the ID is 6974
