- I'm not sure when it comes to the name of the property. Why CETS? The trival way of abbreviating Council of Europe would be "COE". Googling CETS doesn't bring up anything related to this identifier, so I'm not sure where that abbreviation is coming from. The fact that the website is named "COE", also suggest that they believe they are abbreviated that way. Is there prior art of how the number gets called when other websites refer to it? The standard way we name similar properties would suggest "COE treaty ID" or "Council of Europe treaty ID". I think I would prefer "Council of Europe treaty ID" in this case given that it's short enough. ChristianKl (talk) 15:16, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- CETS does stand for "Council of Europe Treaty Series" (which I took from their homepage). However, either name is fine by me. The English Wikipedia sometimes refers to the number as "CETS xxx" in an infobox or as an alternative title (example). --1-Byte (talk) 19:12, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- When I look at the website some numbers contain letters, this suggests the allowed values statement should be broader. ChristianKl (talk) 15:18, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the hint! I changed the expression to allow identifiers for additional protocols. --1-Byte (talk) 19:09, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- The subtext under the page says: "Convention(s) and Agreement(s) opened to the member States of the Council of Europe and, where appropriate, to the : E.: European non member States – N.:Non European non member States – U.: European Union. See the final provisions of each treaty." Can we condense that information into the property description? ChristianKl (talk) 15:19, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Support. This looks useful for authority control. YULdigitalpreservation (talk) 14:07, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
