DIN is a unique Director identification number allotted by the Indian Central Government to any person intending to be a Director or an existing director of a company. It was introduced in 2006. An external identifier might be possible on instafinancials, however it is not from the government. The official govt URL for looking up directors is here. - Comment subject item is the item corresponding to the concept represented by the property, if applicable. It is one of the things to fill out in the proposal template. In other words, there should be a Q item for Director Identification Number created which would be the subject item. UWashPrincipalCataloger (talk) 05:19, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
