I maybe overlooked but it don't seems to be an adequat property or structure for indicating friendship ; it can be particulary important for fictional characters. @M0tty: who suggested the idea. VIGNERON (talk) 16:17, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm wondering what could count as a usable source for this. Your average politician has probably mentioned many hundreds of people as being their "friend" (sometimes with some adjectives like "close", "dear", etc to show genuineness). Does that count? If the requirements are even looser, you could have endless thousands of people listed. Does "friending" someone on a social network count as a declaration of friend status? --Yair rand (talk) 07:13, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    • @Yair rand, Pigsonthewing, M0tty: indeed we should be careful about sourcing (as allways, that's not really specific to this property) and indeed it is subjective. But how is it problem? We have other difficult to source and/or subjective properties (I stumble a lot on student (P802) and what is « notable » or not, same goes for a lot of properties). And in the other way around, how can we represent friendship? There is a lot of obvious cases (especially in fiction, maybe we can limit this property to fiction? it dosen't seems a good idea though, fiction is like life, just easier to source).
