Motivation edit
Mirabile is a semi-open database created by the Società Internazionale per lo Studio del Medioevo Latino (SISMEL). The data is generally excellent, although the saints section is not as thoroughly edited as the authors, and sometimes there are multiple identifiers for an individual. Figures are sometimes documented in groups according to the associated texts: there are in practice entries for these, but it can be hard to find reliable identifiers for them.
