We are not sure if we know what a search page look like. Are you able to furnish an example of a search page?
Assuming we do not have a search page, will we still be able to create "National Library Board Singapore ID" as a property?

I don't see that lack of a search page would prevent the creation of a property, but I am just looking for a page with a search box, something like http://socialarchive.iath.virginia.edu/snac/search Where are you finding the IDs? Not sure whether this is appropriate here anymore, but I've found the search page (http://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/linkeddata/search.html). The ID can be found in the URL between /vocab/ and &label as in the formatter URL. – Jeluang Terluang (talk) 22:52, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Pigsonthewing, ChristianKl: We will be replacing the National Library Board Singapore ID with new identifiers some time next year. I've a couple of questions on how to proceed to replace the old identifiers in Wikidata: 1) Do we proceed first to make the changes directly in property P3988 (http://www.wikidata.org/entity/P3988) by amending the formatter URL? Or do we need to inform the Wikidata community through this page? 2) How do we replace all the identifiers that have been in use in Wikidata entities? Do we delete the old identifiers first and add in the new identifiers, or can we overwrite the old identifiers with new ones directly using QuickStatements?
