Motivation
editThere are two items of compound bow and recurve bow in the World Archery Championship, so I propose this attribute to better improve the item information. 轻语者 (talk) 10:58, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- Comment This seems awfully specific. What about just the generic term uses (P2283) (or maybe armament (P520) or another alternative like item operated (P121))? ArthurPSmith (talk) 20:44, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
- uses (P2283) It's more like preparing for groups, and the original intention of my proposal is to better distinguish projects, just as civil servants distinguish by political parties.
- armament (P520):Sports competitions are not wars so obviously inappropriate.
- item operated (P121): A brief look seems to be prepared for the machine, so it seems inappropriate.

- Is this intended to be used as a qualifier (relating to a particular statement on a sport or event), or as a main value property? --Yair rand (talk) 19:42, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Given that a bow is a weapon, I prefer armament (P520). ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 20:07, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose uses (P2283) or armament (P520) will cover it just fine. /ℇsquilo 06:36, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
