Motivation

I intend this property to be used in qualifiers for claims about membership (e.g. member of (P463), member of political party (P102)), employment (employer (P108)) and for external identifiers whose issuance was requested either by the subject or a third-party.

Especially in the context of memberships in organisations and parties, knowing the date of application might be interesting as admittances modelled via start time (P580) might be backdated or processing the application might have taken notable time. --Nw520 (talk) 22:04, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
