one who licenses some or all of its know-how, procedures, intellectual property, use of its business model, brand, and rights to sell its branded products and services to a franchisee
There are millions of locations/entities, those are franchisee of a business, a food chain, a school or something else. It will make thing clear if it is a franchisee or independent business. We should NOT confuse it with retail chain (Q507619) or parent organization (P749) or media franchise (Q196600), these are totally different things. For the franchisor, use of a franchise system is an alternative business growth strategy, compared to expansion through corporate owned outlets or "chain stores".
@BeLucky: Hi - a property relates a subject and an object (value), so there should be three parts to any example (including the property). Your examples all contain only an item - if it is intended as the subject of the property, then what is the value? Or if an object, what items would have this property and value as a subject? Please look at other proposals and fix your examples, thanks. ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:52, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
