- Motivation
Could apply to many biographical items. Only intended to be used for a habitual use that is documented as culturally significant, not for a routine use (e.g., modern people wearing contact lenses) that is typical for the person's time and place.Pharos (talk) 22:31, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- Discussion
- We already have uses (P2283), (so formally, Oppose). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:49, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- That would be fine by me, although it seems uses (P2283) is currently used for generic types (painter, bird) rather than for individuals.--Pharos (talk) 18:22, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

- Oppose as per @Pigsonthewing:. Use of a generic property shouldn't be an issue as queries can simply be written to search for those person (Q215627) with a uses (P2283) property that has a value of medical device (Q6554101) (or subclass). Additionally, why limit this property to just person (Q215627) when animal (Q729) can also have medical devices fitted? The domain should probably be subject (Q830077) instead (next higher class than person (Q215627) or perhaps just person (Q215627) AND animal (Q729). Dhx1 (talk) 14:43, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Pharos, Pigsonthewing, Dhx1, MechQuester: Not done, because there's no consensus for creation. ChristianKl (talk) 18:26, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
