Motivation
editA person can receive multiple awards such as multiple Gold medal on the same Olympic event, such as Michael Phelps Michael Phelps (Q39562) who received 28 medals in total. But only 13 awards can be counted on the item page, because there's no qualifier that shows how many Gold medals he received on the same Olympic event. It's possible for an athlete in Olympic games to receive multiple Gold medals on the same Olympic event. This need to be added so that we can answer question like How many medals has Michael Phelps won in 2012 Olympic Games ? Total 6 (4 Gold, 2 Silver). It will be even better if it can get more specific of How many GOLD medals has Michael Phelps won in 2012 Olympic Games ? Answer : 4 . Currently, it's not possible to answer/retrieve this type of question.

- Comment can you add a person's item to the sample? Currently it looks like the property is used on the item for the event. @Esia1688, Arbnos, -akko: --- Jura 06:41, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- It's also unclear how it would show that these are gold medals. --- Jura 07:47, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose I'm not 100% sure I understand the proposal, but award received (P166) (with qualifiers) should be used to describe the awards someone has received. /ℇsquilo 15:03, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose It is too difficult to identify the number of awards based on what kind of awards should be counted. I will support if taking more specific scope like the number of awards in the Olympic games. Alphama (talk) 10:20, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose Not sure to understand why award received (P166) with qualifiers cannot be used for this? Amqui (talk) 15:40, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
