Rationale, discussion and results

Reason: I was approached by dewiki CU user User:Rax yesterday on my user talk page at Topic:Vrmmvidefxwuwq2v regarding a recent CU case at dewiki where they confirmed User:QXK = User:Amphoe Chong. The dewiki request can be found at de:Wikipedia:Checkuser/Anfragen/Benutzer:F5nf (July 2020), and it is already a follow-up case to de:Wikipedia:Checkuser/Anfragen/Hauptkamm und weitere (March 2019); particularly the earlier case has revealed excessive socking.

Using different accounts, the individual in question as apparently created thousands of Wikidata items about Austrian localities, and connected ~9400 draft articles in German Wikipedia which they created there as well probably using some sort of automation. The draft articles are all subpages of de:Wikipedia:WikiProjekt Österreich, thus not in article namespace (there is no designated draft namespace in German Wikipedia). As far as I am aware, they are not allowed to add articles to the main namespace in German Wikipedia anymore.

The accounts listed above share the same edit pattern, thus it is reasonable to assume they are being operated by the same individual (though some are probably stale from CU perspective). —MisterSynergy (talk) 15:46, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, this comes as expected. Do you plan to issue checkuser blocks due to the violation of Wikidata:Alternate accounts?

@MisterSynergy: Can you please have Rax confer with me via email? My message to the mailing list about this has gone unanswered by any German Wikipedia CU's. @Rax: in case you have not seen this yet.
I don't think that Rax has any additional information about User:Double_Gatling in particular, as that user has not made any contributions to German Wikipedia. Rax may perhaps have more information about involved IP addresses, as the individual in question has a long track record of problematic behavior in German Wikipedia. I added Double_Gatling here as they have created their account on 2020-08-01 right after the QXK and Orijol accounts were abandoned, and seamlessly continued the exact project the other accounts previously worked on. —MisterSynergy (talk) 07:58, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
